In the spirit of TED's mission, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. TEDx events are fully planned and coordinated independently, on a community-by-community basis.

On America's 250th birthday, visionary voices take the stage overlooking our 40-acre lake — with horses roaming the paddocks in the background. Four sessions of ideas worth spreading, woven together with live musical performances at every break, lunch, and a grand finale at the close of the day.
Out of respect for the horses of Queenslake and for our veterans in the audience, there will be no traditional fireworks display. In its place, we will close the day with a patriotic music and video tribute — a celebration of America's 250th birthday that honors all who serve and all who have served.
Queenslake Horse Farm
Nestled in the rolling bluegrass countryside of Georgetown, Kentucky, Queenslake is a working horse farm centered around a breathtaking 40-acre lake. The outdoor stage sits at the water's edge — with horses roaming the paddocks behind the audience and the Kentucky sky as a backdrop.
There is no more fitting setting for a TEDx event on America's 250th birthday. The land itself tells a story of heritage, freedom, and the enduring beauty of the American countryside.
